PlayBook wrong region issue
since the 2.0 os update my playbook region is locked on the US region which as a UK region playbook owner I'm starting to feel fed up. I've done security wipes and changed region back to UK during the installation setup stage but the moment my PB goes to the main screen and I check the region in setup it is back to the US region. This means I'm unable to have UK region apps such as BBC iplayer and often now when I go into app world I get the message "this item is not supported by your current device profile". When I go to blackberry.com I'm directed to the United States version of the site and not the UK version. Please can crackberry look into this issue

Well, some of your countrymen and women might be jealous - you get the better price for apps that are available in both places. I guess if you can't figure out how to fix it, you can try using a proxy server to gain access to UK only apps.
I wonder if a complete OS reload using Desktop Manager might fix it.

Did you set a proxy value in the network settings? (should have been wiped but check anyway).
