Are you using the Playbook charger?
Yes I am, and it is plugged into its usual place and everything else plugged there Also works
I get that when I use an old LG usb cable and connection my PB to my computer. Sounds like you have a problem with the charger not giving enough juice.
Its plugged into the wall. So the wire is defective?
Unplug it from the wall and PB. Go to a different room and try again.
What adapter are you using it with and have you recently upgraded to 2.1?
Look on the back of the adapter and give the mAh reading.
Same thing. Weird thing is my PB is now at 0% charge and is still working (and has been for an hour).
Yes updated this week or late last week.
Dumb question but did you try a 3 finger miracle performer?
See if the charger works on your phone to rule out a defective charger. Use a usb to hook up to your computer to rule out a defective charging port. Also, as BB-Bmore pointed out, do a 3 finger magic reset. Good luck and please post back your findings.
I'm with BB-More. Reboot it. Sounds like the issue is the PB and not the charger

Also... If I keep it on the charge overnight it charges anywhere from 17% to 70%. But the little lighting on the battery never appears.
Is all this under warranty??? I bought it last december and really disappointed, I bring it often with me.

Three restart methods and then Support:
To fix an issue, try these in order:
Restart using the Battery Icon and press Restart
Press and hold the Power button for 10-15 seconds. Then leave it for 20-30 seconds and see if it restarts.
To REBOOT:
Press and HOLD all three keys for about 10 - 20 seconds: PowerOn, VolUp and VolDown. Start with the PowerButton. Keep holding past the 3-choice options screen. If you hear a shutter type sound, you've taken a Screen Shot and probably missed the PowerButton.

The PB has a one year warranty to the original purchaser. It also has 90 free Tech support. I do not know how Rim deals with "quasi-tech support v. warranty"
