PlayBook video chat integration with OS10

I'm wondering will there be video chat communication between BB10 phones and playbooks. Do we have any confirmation on the subject. The only thing we seem to know is that BBM will have video chat on OS10. I'm hopping to be able to video chat between my playbook and a BB10 phone. It would be a waste if this function wasn't available by RIM. We would be fully relied upon on external developers.

BBM is expected to arrive with BB10 on the PlayBook...so BBM Video will be the solution you're looking for.

It will be interesting to see if BBM Video on BB10 will communicate with the Video Chat app currently on the PlayBook. That could help bridge the gap until BB10 arrives on the PlayBook itself.

I would think it would since BBM will be setup through BBID and PlayBook Video Chat is BBID.

PlayBook Video Chat is BBM Video, under a different UI/name. It was released on the PlayBook to "beta" VoIP services for RIM. Hence BBM Voice not being released till this close to BB10 launch.

This is what I'm hopping for as well. Unless a beta version of OS10 will be available at phone launch with this feature unlocked.
