Reason: post is false alarm
Just tried using the "go advanced" to use the attachment (paperclip) but on the pb I could not get it to work. Normally it opened a small popup window to browse your computer but it does not do the popup. I may be missing some step on the pb.
Maybe I did not have popups permitted. Yup. But the darn pb then allows me to only browse ALL photos and I have more than 1,000 so finding a photo to upload can be a total pain.
F2, im getting to my playbook pictures ok now, not sure how but i was able to just like browsing a computor, ill try to duplicate it and remember how
GREAT image (even if the ad is a bit deceptive )
Unless I'm missing something (quite possible), when attempting to "browse" like sending to crackberry or to send in an email, the pb only shows ALL pictures and does not present a folder view. So that all of my various trips and misc jpg's and then camera and screenshots all show up in one big display list. So that totals more than 1,000 images and I have to scroll through them all trying to find the right one - awkward at best.
edited to add: I had never used the SEARCH function. I guess I can cut down the clutter by searching for "img_00" and it would tend to eliminate my other photos where they might be "img_0xx" where xx are larger than 0 (zero). Or, obviously, if all photos were renamed to something else.
Actually, I notice a number of devices these days break down the concept of folders. They appear to read the entire device and present all media-types in their respect media "folders." My videos from my digital camera that I accidentally loaded into the picture folder show up in the Video folder. While convenient in some instances, this removes hierarchical structure that some of us prefer.
