If Blackberry do not upgrade the Playbook to BB10 nobody will trust enough to buy another similar product launched by Blackberry knowing that they leave the customers on their own as is happening with Blackberry PlayBook.

I called BlackBerry today for support with my Z10 and ended up talking to PlayBook by mistake.

Anyhow, when I asked if we will get another update for the PlayBook, whether it be the OS or the Android runtime, I was told that it's going to get BB10 and the new Android runtime. I pressed him on how he knew this and he said that it's on the BlackBerry intranet websites.

For what it's worth, that's what I was told and if it's true, I don't expect that it will be full blown BB10 but perhaps just enough to allow other BB10 apps to run on my many PlayBooks.

I guess we'll see.

Oh please don't fool us!! I will never buy another product from Blackberry after this scam named PLAYBOOK, If they do not upgrade the Playbook to BB10 with Android runtime, I will seal the deal and never in my life buy again a product from Balckberry. Look from Bold 9650 to Z10 I've been faithful. My only complaint is the Playbook.

Don't want to jinx it, but my PlayBook runs as well off z30 by blue tooth as with WiFi connection. Still love it.

Can't someone "buy the rights" to attempt a slim-jim version of BB10 to operate on PB?

Can't they (bbry) release a OS10 diet/light for the PB or at least someone with the know how, do such. Think a million people downloading apps from Amazon and BlackBerry World would give BlackBerry a much needed push in the market. It probably won't happen as the PB is old and not the focus currently. Just my two cents.
