The RIM CEO, at the last quarterly report conferences, said they would be giving financial incentive (price reductions) to increase sales. As in your country, this is starting to occur in the US too. Simply, they have too much inventory and not enough cash.

i have noticed the price decrease here and encourage all tablet prices decreasing not just the playbook but hope that rim doesnt abandon this great tablet and get that widely wanted v2 update.

I wonder if we'll see those price drops in the UK?

I'm not holding my breath though - not for nothing was the UK known as "Treasure Island" by the auto companies due to the inflated profit margins our market would support.

And it has long been a truism that $1 = �1 in the consumer electronics market regardless of the actual exchange rate!

I hope I'm wrong - I'd love to pick up a reasonably priced 64Gb PB.

No idea where you can fix PB but you can goto Starlink...

In Qatar, only 16GB was available, 32GB or 64GB never got released here..
