Your feedback is crucial to the success of the BlackBerry PlayBook!
This program is only available to a select group of BlackBerry PlayBook developers; as such we are very interested in hearing your comments and experiences. Since the program will remain open for approximately 1 week, it is crucial to submit all issues and feedback in a timely manner. Please use the programs discussion boards and share your experiences with us. RIM moderators will review all of your suggestions and provide support for any issues. Your feedback will be considered for inclusion in the 1.0.6 release.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to working with you on this release!
Sincerely,

So can any beta zone members install this? I'm a beta zone member but at work. Or is this some developers special zone?
The email said developers, perhaps some users will get it too, but I'd suspect not many or we'd have seen the forums exploding now with people saying they got it.
OMG OMG update 1.0.5.2342 downloading right now!!!!! It's only 5mb too, guys!!!!!!! I bet it has android and native email!!!!!!!! So excited!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've had PB user in my profile since 4/19, plus I'm pretty since some of the RIM moderator's know who I am, and I did not get picked. I doubt any regular users are gonna get picked. Pretty sure this is VERY limited and for developers only, BUT it also looks like it's gonna roll out quickly too. I don't think it's Android yet, this appears to be a flash update to 10.3. BUT you never know. I wouldn't count on Android yet, or the BB app player.
Well we know the update will have flash 10.3 for sure. My guess is that Native e-mail, calendar, etc will also be included too as this is the biggest complaint by people and probably a key thing from getting some people to jump on board. Hopefully they'll spill some info on the earnings call this Thursday on what we can expect soon. They'll have to give some positive news as I think the news on the phone front is going to be disappointing.
I find it much more important that the time window is only 1 week.
so we can expect the update next week to arrive. And obviously it will change a lot 'under the hood'.
I hope for the best...
Hmmm, I'm not quite sure that's correct. I figure they would allow one week for developers to test their applications and give feedback, and however long it takes RIM to fix any issues based on feedback. So 1 week + fix time.
How fresh is the source? Looks like we could see an update on the 19th
Doubt it the email is dated the 13th then a week to beta test that will be the 20th. Then a week at the least to review the feedback and make changes if needed. So the 27th at the earliest would be my best guess.
