Just wanted to share an article that I came across which mentions that RIM is already working on OS 3.0

I also read that in an interview at DevCon Head of Software portfolio Vivek Bharadwaj confirmed that Playbook will also be updated to Blackberry 10 whenever it comes out.

RIM says current devices won

Atleast this tells us :

- RIM is not abandoning the playbook , in face its repeatedly quoting that its the forward to BB10 & central to the company's strategy

- There is still hope that BBM will land on Playbook via a future software update (given the current technical difficulties with its current implementation/design )
