I don't know why but rendering on CrackBerry is awful even if its fully loaded. Lol oh the irony that the top BB news and info site doesn't work that well on the playbook

Yea turning off JavaScript helps but its really a short term solution considering that its so prevalent on most websites
I predict Thursday, if it happens.
I have not been able to connect to the update server in over an hour,Anyone else ?? Maybe it is coming this week :D

Why continue to still support PlayBook Lame OS when BB10 is coming to the PlayBook in less than a year?
Oh, be reasonable. We all know there will be no BBM till BlackBerry 10.
I rather they fix things like emails getting deleted from the servers and such.
I'll take it with no complaints. :)
That said, the other day my PC had a Flashplayer update so I'm putting $ on that being the bulk of it.
Java really slows down playbook. Without playbook is just flying
I've just got an update on my playbook...........oh hang on it's an email
Why do you hate me?
I wasn't aware that I hated you:confused:
Hopefully its full of nothing but bug fixes.
Please no more new features with this current OS strand. Just make this one nice and fully functional so we folks that don't believe that BB10 is the second coming can stay on a fully working OS than move to a new one with a load of new bugs and issues.
"I've just got an update on my playbook...........oh hang on it's an email" : You take me to the mountain and then just dropped me off the cliff all in 2 seconds. :)
I suspect that there is shared code under the surface and it's a chance to push the code out and stabilise. If you look at the recent releases on the phones, bbm voice has already been released, and this means that the back end infrastructure can be ramped up to cope with a large proportion of the existing 80 million users. Then it can be scaled for a large number of bb10 users in January's/February.
_______
I seem to experience the same thing. See my post elsewhere on the Battery topic.
Tick Tock.........
I predict 13:13 on 13th!
this would be very nice
Why so in a hurry to get a load of new bugs that will need fixing? Plus all the bits we know from past experience of RIM that will be missing?
A company and its project delivery doesnt just change overnight.
5 updates appeared today. Averaging a minimum of 2 a week.
After New Years. Canadians take EOY vacations don't they?
We have stat holidays on December 25th and December 26th and January 1st and back to work fully on January 2nd and RIM will be working full steam ahead with less than a month to go at that point.
Today, I have been trying to check for an update for my playbook which is currently on 2.1.0.1088 however it keeps showing an error that it can't connect to the update server.
Is that a good sign? does that mean we are getting closer to have OS 2.1.0.1282???
A good sign that it will come out is when it does and/or RIM states its coming. Right now all we have is a rumor based on a post. There's no concrete news about one coming out so keep on checking for updates. ima sit back, relax and enjoy my pb while everyone breaks a finger pressing the update button.
This happens every time. and all of you fall for this everytime then blast RIM when the supposed relase date comes and goes.
act like I'm wrong.
Wow didn't know that all of us act this way hmmmm so your saying everyone else but you checks for updates when a rumor of an update occurs?
Sorry I'm not buying that but I will be extra careful that I don't break a finger and you should too ;)
