Just upgraded to the new Bridge 2.0. As already reported on other threads, the remote works! I'm using my style to type on the PB now! But here's another tidbit:

It changed the bridge icons on the PB and removed the Bridge Browser Icon. Just use the regular browser and it still works incase anyone asks!

That's pretty cool. Wonder if that will be disabled for AT&T customers with non-tethering data plans too.

I just plugged my playbook into my comp to do a backup before I wipe in preperation for os 2.0 tomorrow... but it popped up saying there is an os update and its installing it.. does not say what the update is though... I am practically peeing my pants! I hopes its not just a minor 1.8 update or something... I don't think my heart can take it!

The new remote feature in Bridge works with any BlueTooth device, not just PlayBook. You can use it to control the mouse on your PC, Mac, Droid or iDevice too.

Few of us had it show up at first, go to "my world" in your phone's app world and do a refresh.
