I just picked up an OrientEX Bluetooth keyboard, which supposedly works with Android tablets as well as iThings. I can get the Playbook to recognize it and add it to the "paired devices" list, but nothing I type on the keyboard actually reaches the screen.

The keyboard is turned on and the icon beside its name in the PB paired devices list is a couple of green arrows, which looks as though it ought to mean everything's working.

Has anyone else got this keyboard to work with a PB, or any ideas on what I'm doing wrong here?

    Thanks for your help

There is certainly something to be said for buying oem products. Good luck!

If there was an OEM keyboard of this type, I would have looked there first. But I don't want a tiny one like the one that comes in the folding case... and I don't want that case, either.

Tomorrow I'll take the PB into town, visit any store that might have BT keyboards, and try them right there. I'm heading to the UK in 10 days and so time for ordering and mailing is getting a bit tight.
