Honestly, no one cares enough about AC3 on tablet to buy licenses, well apart from Acer.
Apple and Android are cheats, they are the ones who should be held responsible for what is being sold on their App world. You have a shop and someone sells drugs in there.. Who do you think is going to jail?

You guys do realize that the two biggest driving factors in tech advancement in the last few years is PORN and FILE SHARING (most illegally). So if someone were thinking of buying a new mobile device, and they have a friend that says that no his device doesn't play those files, but another friend says that yes his device will play them... which do you think that person is going to buy, if playing those type files is a major concern to them.
Several years ago I copied a number of my DVD's and formatted them for mobile devices of the day so that I got a very small file size. Now with the PlayBook, I do see a huge loss of quality. And if I plug it into a large TV it is like watching an old VCR tape that had been copied from a copy. But I don't really want to take the time to reformat everything. Really thinking about taking all my DVD's & BlueRays down to Walmart so I can get a digital copy on Vudu.

If using Freemake (which I use all the time) click to convert to mpeg. When the box comes up, where it says "Same as Source" do a drop down and choose custom.
In your video presets - frame size - choose 1280x720. In the Audio presets below, do the drop down and choose mp3.
Here I am assuming (we know that is dangerous) that is you file size is around 2gb it is probably a 16:9 720p video.
Your video size should be about the same, but the audio will change to mp3.
Hope this helps
