i listened to it then read the forums here. god nothing like go from excited to duldrum, i mean seriously i just got over reading a posting about people returning them and places like futureshop already considering if not doing price drops. sigh maybe something good will come of the next update. i should stay off the forums the people here sure know how to be buzz kills even with most of the trolls banished.

Geez man. It's just a piece of electronics. What should matter is if you get what you need out of the device not what the alleged former PB owners decide to do. It's not like it's a ton of money compared to other luxury items. Which is what a tablet is, a luxury item, at least for the time being. I assume most people buy something like this because $500-$700 isn't that big a deal to them (not saying that's your case). Just trying to figure out why emotions are running so deep with this launch. I've said a few times in these forums, I'm an iPad 1 & 2 user for now but am not tied to any OEM. I just love gadgets and scoop up as many as I can justify. I think the OP's link is exciting and I personally am looking forward to some actual competition in this market. It will be good for all current and future tablet consumers.
