    This new 4G model is expected to be available from Sprint in the summer.

    Yea I think this has been known but its the carrier-supported, and not the first release (wifi).

    No biggie to me but maybe to those wanting a 3g version it may be bad news.

    I meant first official from an actual carrier. Remember everyone doesn't follow RIM press released. Some people actually rely on their carrier to provide them information regarding new devices. So it's great that many people knew on a RIM press release but now people who don't read that stuff can now see it on their carrier's site.

    well the press release was from RIM and Sprint, so the only news here is that theres a `coming soon` page on their website. nothing more, nothing less
