any one else experiencing this? when i use the remote feature on my bb cellphone all the letters of the words i'm typing appear as they should but on the playbook only some of them appear, seems to affect the letter a x c . not sure what is going on here!

What letters (if any) do you see on the pb? I have not "typed" much with the remote but I know that it would use the Autotext in my bbphone's memory so that maybe those letters are redefined by your phone's autotext settings?
Although, the other day, I could not get the playbook to fix "hadnt" - it was changed to something like "hadnt)" not to the correct "hadn't" - Yes, a Parenthesis and NO apostrophe.
