In our church, the songs we sing, are projected on a large screen.

I noticed that they use the Playbook to control the app and change the lyrics on the screen!

The program is called LightHouse ( LightHouse ) and runs on Windows.
The Playbook is the remote control for the program.

    Amen.

Since this is Windows and Internet Explorer only, I assume the PB is running remote desktop software

Yes, but the controller window is exactly the same size as the playbook display, and it seems to be designed for touch, so it feels almost as a native app.

The Church supports PlayBook and that means RIMM is in favor by God.

We record the songs we play for church with my playbook, with it's awesome stero mics and nice speakers.

That's great! You also should check out the thread "Playbook in Church" Hundreds of stories of the PB being used in church for numerous applications. I use mine for lessons, presentations, classes etc... With the apps e-Mmanual and Presenters Edge, I'm good to go.
