    Sorry is this is not the right place.

    I'm trying to buy a game on my PB (no problems since last year before OS 2) using PayPal but it won't accept my details. "Problem encountered with PayPal authorization. (Error: 579055)" Can't find this code anywhere - found 579024 but none of the solutions I've found for that code work. I've tried logging in time and again on my PB and Bold 9900, I've been on the PayPal website and changed my password but that didn't work either. Any ideas?

    Looks like you use your paypal account a lot? I found this looking at the api system.

    579055 The limit for total amount of all payments is above PayPal's limit

    If that's not the case, then I apologize, but that is what the error number kicks back when I searched for it.

    Hello I am having the exact same problem, was working about a month ago when I last used it! The only thing I can add was that in the mean time the card associated with my PayPal account expired so I had to register a new card. I have since been using this for my ebay purchases without any problems. If anyone has any ideas, otherwise I may have to contact PayPal.

    Hi managed to sort this out, went in BlackBerry World, swiped down and selected Payment options. Selected modify PayPal and enter in a false account which failed, then re-entered the correct details, confirmation message then pop up to say the new details had been saved and hey presto it now works!
