it worked before when i loaded videos, music and documents. But as of today, it just doesnt show up.

You could try rebooting both systems and your router.

I had the same problem...Mine would show up for about a minute and then disperser
I think this fixed mine.
Remove all the back up settings in the Desktop Manager.
Uncheck Manual backups and Automatic backups.

mine only shows up when i have desktop manager open for some random reason, but i wifi share for the most part

1) open up mycomputer
2) in playbook go to options>storage/sharing and set wifi sharing to yes. set password if desired.
3) scroll to and open network id properties
4) in address bar of mycomputer type \\tabletnetworkname (note must be connected to wifi on playbook)
5) if prompted enter username (username from properties page) and password (the one you might of just setup)

you`ll now see your device through your network.

tip: if password protected check the `remember details` box when logging in
