    Hi,

My firewall; Bullguard; is blocking access to/from the Playbook & Desktop software. If I drop Bullguard access is permitted.

    I have no blocked hosts.

If the Playbook accessed the PC with a fixed IP address I think the problem would be resolved by adding a custom Subnet & allowing it access by checking the subnet button, I have done this using the Playbooks info:-

    IP address
    Subnet mask

Unfortunately it uses a different IP each time.
I'm in contact with Bullguard support section but it's hard work so far.

Anybody been down this road before?
I would like to permit this device with a varying IP address through the firewall.

If it is a network that you use on a daily basis I would suggest setting a fixed IP address to the network profile and setting your firewall to accept the playbook

Just had a thought and tried it out.
If get the files to copy onto the Playbook on my PC and then disable WiFi access, I can then drop the firewall as I'm no longer on-line anyway. Then copy the files to the PB with Desktop software.

I tried it and it works; problem solved. Nice....
