I was wondering if you can charge your 9900 (or any BlackBerry phone) with the PlayBook charger? Is the PlayBook charger the same thing as the BlackBerry Premium Charger?
As mentioned above, the Playbook charger is a "Rapid Charger" for Blackberry phones. Don't try it the other way around though (BB phone charger for the PB) , as I am sure you can figure out the charging results
I did find that the PB charger is too small for my wife's 8330 Curve, which has a larger "mini" USB.
Crackberry sells a very small adapter to change a micro into a mini. I drilled a small hole in it and ran a loop of thin cord through the hole to attach it to my micro charging cable.
And I've got adapters that go the other way, also. Covered in both directions!
I should add, I don't know the charging needs of Rim's older mini-usb phones.
Are you talking about a car charger, a wall socket charger or a computer USB drive charger? And while I am asking a dumb questions, should the playbook charge when connected to the computer via the USB cable or will it only charge from the a wall socket?

Thanks for your help.
A computer usb provides very little power to the pb. So if you actually use the pb while charging on a computer, you may still LOSE battery power.
