I am looking to buy a used playbook to use with my passport. Just something for fun since used ones are so cheap. Other than 16 or 32 or 64gb are there any differences between models?

There is one that has a cellular radio in it... otherwise the memory is really the only difference.

.....also that model has 1.5Gb ram vs 1.0Gb for the wifi (16,32,64) versions. Those are the only 2 differences.

I assume if it has a cell radio in it it would have a sim card holder on it to I'd it?

    It should, for mobile data.

The LTE Playbook is pretty rare and probably doesn't offer much benefit unless you want to use the cellular radio on it. The original Playbook has a better screen and is considerably cheaper used.

The LTE can also be a bit problematic when setting up and sometimes you have to revert to an autoloader to get the OS setup properly.

There were also a bunch of the LTE Playbooks sold off by BlackBerry with the SIM tray glued shut so they cannot be used on the cellular network. Not sure why they did it, but just keep in mind if you find one of these, it may not be useable on cellular.

I find my 64gb is much slower than my 32gb. As in the keyboard doesn't react as fast, and the apps don't open as quick. This is after trying to fix with reformatting.

I own all models. I use my 64gb model exclusively as it has the most storage space. In order to take full advantage of bb bridge, it's best to use with bb legacy devices e.g. 9900 and older running OS 6 or even 7 as BB10 is very limited

Isn't it 1.5 GHz for cellular model and 1 GHz for WiFi models?
Ram is the same, but the process speed is different. And it's very much noticeable.

I have the 64gb model & the 4g LTE model which does take a standard sim card.
    Other differences:
    1. Screen colours on the 64gb are richer but it's only noticeable if you have the two side by side.
    2. Battery life on the 64gb is better. (I think I read somewhere that the battery is smaller in the 4g model because of the space the radio takes up?)
    3. 4g model has only 32gb of storage.
    4. As already stated, the 4g model has a faster processor.
    5. For some unknown reason, I can't save bookmarks to the home screen of the 4g model and I know it's the same for other owners.
