Default Playbook and 9900 suddenly not speaking

Ok, I've had my pb for a year (love it!). It was originally paired with my old 9000, then for a short while, a Curve, then, for the past few months, the great 9900. Everything was working fine. Then, this morning, they're not talking. I've tried restarting (both) multiple times; battery pull; restarting one then the other; deleting the 9900 from the pb; deleting then restoring the bridge from rroyy (since I'm on AT&T). They pair, but don't connect. Suggestions? PB software 2.0.1.358; 9900 7.0.0, bundle 2392. (I tend to wait for "official" carrier releases.) Bridge version 2.0.0.30

    Thanks for any help!

I know it sounds dumb, but double check that the bluetooth is ON for both.

Oh, believe me-very few things are dumb. But yes, they are both "on". And they each show the other-pb recognizes the 9900, the 9900 recognizes the pb. But they don't connect - I don't get the "blue" bluetooth icon. And the 9900 is connecting with my SUV, so it is working...

I agree it's going to be something small and will make you feel stupid when you figure it out.

OK. Everything that everyone suggested was good, but the answer to all questions/suggestions was "yes". Still have no idea what the problem was. But I started over, and reloaded bluetooth on both the 9900 and the pb. And I reloaded the bridge, and paired them up. As of now, everything is back working. Have no idea what happened, or what finally solved the problem; I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

One more question - since I'm on AT&T, and have to run the rroyy version (thank you!) - is there a way to check and make sure that I'm still running his version, and NOT the AT&T version? Geez, I hope that makes sense!

Well, where did you get the Bridge you RELOADED? If from rroyy.com, you are fine.

But if from appworld, you will get the intercept message from AT&T if you try using the Browser without wifi.

Well, I had downloaded it from rroyy, but considering all the weird sh*t that happened, I just wanted to make sure. Didn't think about turning off the wifi. Duh. But then again, I'd always stayed verrry far away from the AT&T version. So didn't know if it would immediately flag, or be sneaky...

Thanks for the help and patience. CB is the best!!

As long as you deleted the bridge app on your phone and then reloaded the rroyy one, you should be good to go.

    Glad you got it working.

your 9900 found out that your PlayBook had an affair with the bitten fruit phone and it has filed for divorce.
