Not yet, though it probably could once RIM figures out the whole USB host thing and/or somebody writes an app that allows video-in with the use of a USB dongle or something, or maybe even through the HDMI port (which currently only allows outbound video/sound signals). Though, like you, I don't have much expertise in this area so I don't know.

USB doesn't have anywhere near the bandwidth for uncompressed video. There are devices that can compress it, but that would introduce far too much lag for gaming use. Never mind the issues of no drivers or the cost of those devices.
