    This is stupidly basic stuff but I can't find and answer anywhere and the answers I do find are for older versions of the OS. Also it is probably moot once 2.0 comes out.
    But anyways...
    Can someone explain what the (not intuitive) blue check box icon at the bottom of the Messages screen is for . Reply, Reply All, Forward, Search, Flag, Delete, Save to File, and Read/Unread are obvious but the one I don't understand is the Blue check box which greys out the text (and locks the email?). Thanks.

    Allows you to select multiple emails which then can be deleted, marked as new, etc.

    Yeah, lets you select multiple messages. Why they did it that way instead of doing the multi touch to activate like I do on the Storm2 is beyond me. That seems far more intuitive and far quicker than choosing each individual message. As you state though, may not matter after official OS2.
