I've become obsessed with the PB's hdmi out. When I go to friends' houses, I can't seem to restrain myself from plugging into their tvs and showing my vacation photos. The friends that I travel with seem to enjoy it. Strangely enough, I think everyone else is starting to avoid me.
I've also used it to get them to watch one of my favorite sci-fi shows streaming from my Amazon library. That's fun, right?
Lol this is funny because the same thing happened to me tonight. I bought an HDMI cable and brought my PB over to a family event. I plugged it in the TV and away i went blabbing about what it can do. All the people that called me "old fashioned" or a "Caveman" a few weeks ago were loving the Playbook.
It's funny how fast some people are to criticize something. Once they get their hands on it, those bad comments came to a crashing halt. I even sold my cousin on buying one.
I hate to say it, well, really I don't, but I told you so. I tried warning you, but nooooo...no one ever listens. You'll suffer for your lack of control. I feel for you. Misery DOES love company

I hope you were able to get the Tongue Marks off your PB and make her presentable again.
I see my friends looking at me on my PB in the corner of my eye but they're too proud to either look at it or compliment just bc it's a BB. Damn Apple lovers. Funny, the other night, my car club launched our website (which is all in flash) and the iPad owners are 'n about how they can't view it, lol.
I'm sorry but this just really creepy. You might try interacting with the real people on occasion and not obsessing about a little tablet. They are probably not envying it out of the corner of their eye. Personally, if someone connected their Playbook (or anything else) to my television, I might be inclined to see how well it flies before escorting the person to the door. BTW, I am glad you can watch your favorite show on Amazon Instant Video, since many of us no longer have any access at all....

Wow, you're a ray of sunshine.
I was obviously being tongue in cheek and exaggerating.
I actually have only connected with the owner's permission (the owners being real live friends that I do interact with quite a lot and have even travelled internationally with hence the vacation photos that they themselves are in).
And yeah, my Amazon video library seems to be working just fine for now. Haven't checked Prime.
But thanks for bringing that to what was supposed to be a light-hearted thread.
Nothing like finding a group of happy people and spreading a bad mood around, is there?
