Newest os 2 and it keeps asking me for a password when the screen wakes up. I have turned off everything ie file sharing etc. Anyone else have this problem?

So when you go into Security>Password, does it say that the password is on or off? You are not enabling "developer mode" are you?

Man I am brain dead. Looked everywhere. I thought the security password was just to change it lol thanks.

Yes, if you root your playbook, the step where you put it in dev mode adds a password. If you don't want a password just do as the poster mentioned above.
