I'm still relatively new here on Crackberry and even a newer Playbook owner. I got to thinking that the average age of a PB user is likely older then other Pad/Tablets users and uses it more for non gaming uses. Perhaps a poll would be interesting. However, not sure how to launch polls here. Perhaps if we did the demographics might be interesting.
I bought one for my daughter's family. Early 30's used for early childhood education, sports, games.
Myself 63. Retired and use for news, surfing, PIM with Bridge, Video chatting. Occaisionally games.

I'm 24, and the girlfriend is 20. She uses her PB for gaming and Facebook, I use mine for pressing the "check for updates" button  But seriously, bridge, work and light gaming.

im 28 and i use my pb for everything, business meets, presentations, as camera, fb, twitter, nasdaq, gaming, test html5 apps, and more, i cannot think my life without my pb

18, PlayBook does everything I need it to, Bridge functionality provides me internet access anywhere without needing a separate data plan

One of those 60+ (and maybe plus some more) - used for whatever but the web, email (with its current limitations on boxes and spell-check), video and fun.

i'm 41 and my gf's 51(yeah, i'd call her a cougar but at our age it's more like a sabre tooth tiger)..i use mine mostly for cb, fb and browsing, lots of google..same stuff i usedta use my phone for, while she loves the games..both of us use them quite a bit for video..she can watch whatever silly programs women download, and i can watch the much more serious and mature south park, family guy etc

36 and I use it for web surfing, games, and video chat. My wife uses it for fb, and my kids play angry birds and spiderman.

60+ Books, Pictures, Investments, Banking, News, Watch movies sometimes, Music, Video chat (just bought my wife her very own pb), Web surfing, minimal games and Crackberry of course!!

Just enjoyed the 15th anniversary of my 28th B-day. The Wife got a 16gig so I got mine back, she is younger than me. Leave that alone.

48 year old female professional here, but I use the PB for personal use (my company uses iPads).
I use it for surfing the net, taking notes, bridging, FB. It is just handy to not be tied to a computer. Also use it to stream music when I'm doing stuff around the house. I like to watch the NFB videos. I love the productivity the PB offers and its portability. I love techy gadgets, so the PB was the right thing for me.
Not much of a gamer and the apps I like are more practical (cloud clients, note taking stuff, etc). I find my Nook and Kobo are better for reading.
I love the bridging. I can't imagine being without my PB.
