Just to state it for record I just own two Playbooks and was considering a third, below is the ad I came across today and the txt converstaion that transpired...

Me: Looking at your playbook ad on kijiji, did you intend to price it at $750?
Seller: No $700
Me: Do you know they are only $149 at Futureshop or anywhere else?!
Seller: Cuz it's boxing day prices
Me: uh..No that's normal pricing has been for a while... good luck with that...

Seller: How much you want to pay
I couldn't resist...
Me: $100

I have seen similar ads but none with such an outrageous price as what you found. Most appear to be asking for about 50 dollars more than retail, and I have to just shake my head in disbelief. Although I have sent a couple emails similar to yours to educate the seller.

There are definitely deals to be had on Kijiji. I recently got a 16GB PlayBook for 80 dollars and that included the journal case.

this is the same on ebay too. I've look for general pb stuff on there and have seen loads of bidding wars going on where either 2nd hand or nearly new pbs are going for more than retail price. here in the uk the prices have dropped since August and I still see people selling their used pbs for over 150 plus.

no clue, but I just wanna yell at people and warn them!
