I have noticed that when I power off my PlayBook running OS2 that its hit or miss whether it'll power back on. I downgraded to 107 to rule out hardware & it worked perfectly.

Before I provide feedback to RIM I'd like to see if anyone else is experiencing this.

To reproduce, power off OS2 PlayBook. Wait 10 minutes & try to power back on.

    Thanks.

I had a related issue. It would power down, yet the backlight would stay on. I had to perform a "hard reset" to reboot the unit.

    This only happened with 2.0

On os2 I've also had issues turning my PB back on, as well as it being detected by Desktop Manager. I eventualy got the computer to connect to it, and am busy downgrading back to 1.7

I'd like to second this. It doesn't happen every time, but does happen a good chunk of the time when either shutting down or restarting. Hard reset always resolves it, thankfully.
