OS2, for short, are all the features that RIM announced with the PlayBook at DevCon 2010. When people bought their PlayBooks, they were told these features would be available, such as Android apps, BBM, Native Email, Calendar, Contacts..etc.

Initially, they were told they would be available 60 days after launch, then summer, then fall, then after devcon, then end of the year, and now Feb. 2012. This is why people are so upset. Features that were announced in 2010 aren't going to be available until 2012, hopefully.

All good things come to those who wait, I waited for my 9810 forever, It's the best phone I have ever had. We all want things now, but maybe a bit of ego controll is need. (the ego controls the impulses)

Hmm. I believe Storm users are still waiting. And, yes, "gooder" things came but they had to pay for them in a new device.
