Loaded earlier this morning and was a 37mb update but haven't had time to check it out yet.
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

Maybe the 402 mb is rolling out, but they need to reset the Canadian restriction due to the Igloo thing? That's just a speculation. I doubt they would do a full out update without announcing it, but it's about time. And gives about 40+ days before BB10. Makes sense.

Mine's rebooting now. Maybe it's just me, but I think the BB PB boot "splash screen" is gorgeous.

so far I haven't noticed much of a difference. App world may be a little more snappy. Other than that I haven't noticed anything different.

Maybe your playbook had something corrupted/missing so it needed to download more to get you to 2.1.0.1314

Yah, it seems just the 2 if them getting the 402 mb update. I don't think it's a regional issue anymore. I agree with the error causing some corruption, hence needing the 402 mb update

Browser is faster, battery life is better, restarts in 2 seconds, runs any app you can think of regardless of the platform, and it also now sprinkles pixy dust when you shake it.

    Great update!!

Now if I could hurry home I would download the update

Download was fast, installation took forever! First reaction is when I open a flash rich web site I still see substantial checkerboarding but no jittery re-sizing, that was a big annoyance.

Update installed, Facebook still broken. But I agree with others, splash screen is stunning, battery life better, browser snappier, apps launch like a rocket, overall the thing just feels nifftier.

Same here. Fast download and worryingly slow install - but, after about 15 minutes, got there okay in the end

I got the same. My Playbook was at the latest rev level so I know I did not miss an upgrade. Got the 37mb, download was fast. The update looked like it had stalled, but after 10 minutes, the progress meter started to climb. After the reboot, I got the 408gb installation. The OS seems snappier, no other noticeable changes.

What model are you guys using that got the 408 mb update?

Got the 37 mb, reboot and no further updates. What does your OS version say after the 408 mb upgrade?
