Very disappointed if the rumor of the massive delay is true.
So the next sweet update is 2 months out. I really have to hand it out to RIM. They have consistently managed to miss deadlines at an epic level.
I am not sure os 2.0 when it comes, probably sometimes in summer/fall/spring etc whatever, but at that point it will be competing with icecream and pad3 and who knows will get the traction it is hoping for.
But RIM keeping the faith in their playbook, and not scuttling it like the touchpad/webos is atleast some sign that they are either betting big on QNX hopefully for the better.
Given the amount of extra work to push out a release every 4-6 weeks (integration, regression, testing, etc. etc.), a longer release schedule wouldn't hurt.
Looking forward to the swiss-army-knife/all-singing-all-dancing/does-everything october release!
