"It is not possible to deploy applications that are created with version 1.0.7 of the native SDK on tablets with BlackBerry Tablet OS 2.0."

this seems like a major roadblock?

So… They're releasing a version of the OS with the Android Player… Didn't we already have that once?

Signed up. I would like to play with the new UI. Are people really complaining about them releasing the OS2 update? It will probably be in beta for apps for a week or two. Smart of them to do if you ask me.

To be fair to RIM, it is a Beta release for the specific purpose of Devs play-testing their own apps. It isn't intended that it be release ready.

I'd be interested to see a few screenshots of the new UI if anyone would be so kind.

Yes it's smart. Otherwise you have devs STARTING to fix their apps with NDK v2 and the new OS software AFTER the release.

That is not better in any way...
