A while ago I saw in a thread people basing the number of Playbooks sold, on the number of users of the Facebook for playbook app. But I just realized that it's not how many Playbooks use the app, it's how many fb users connected with a playbook via the app. I have at least 5 friends that used my pb to connect to fb. So now I wonder how many people really have the playbook?
I don't think it's a good way to check at all.
I for one have never even opened the app on my Playbook ever, but I do use it on my
BB phone. Also I have a couple of friends and family members with the Playbook that Don't use Facebook.
The way sales are going still selling out every week everywhere for the past 2 months and going strong I'm pretty sure they are well above 1 million.
I personally dont use (or like) the app. I find using the browser and logging into the actual FB site much better. Thats like having a FB app on your laptop or desktop.
i love facebook as it gives me a place to post photos from my portfolio or fashion shows i've done.
as far as the question is concerned, i don't think facebook is the most reliable method to determine the number of actual playbooks sold vs shipped, if in fact that was the question to begin with....

Good point although I don't favor the FB site and prefer the app. Wish the PB app was a bit better.
