    so trying new playbook at different store worked , good to go,thanx for the help
    There must have been a batch of Playbooks not set up correctly. With Rim everything is not just security related, but they also are very careful about country licensing of apps. I suppose they could be controlling this by the PIN as well as country you are in and this batch may have not had their PINs set up to work for a North American user.
