    Hello,

Check the type of the sound of the video, the playbook can't play AC3. You have to convert the sound to MP3. There are free apps that do that.

This app is a godsend in telling you more than you need to know about a video file:
    MediaInfo

Playbook also supports AAC audio in stereo and and 5.1 audio.

Lock of AC3 support is brutal though...

To convert videos so they can play on the PlayBook I use a free software called Avidemux. Look at what formats are supported by the PlayBook here: http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartp..._(English).pdf

and check out this CrackBerry thread for help as well: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...aybook-640152/

You can google how to convert videos using avidemux.

    Good luck!

    I recommend HandBrake.

You can re-encode for the Playbook using the 1024x600 resolution and stereo AAC. I had trouble with AVIs having MP3 soundtracks.
