    The PB wasn't rooted, the PB simulator was. Big difference since the underlying core is not in the simulator. So its nothing really speacial.

    Strange. Maybe they broke QNX and were able to crash the UI to display the Xorg desktop or standard QNX UI? I would like to see some photos or videos.

    and if you go to the SOURCE which Really upsets me that people aren't linking to

    you'll see he ONLY had done it on the Simulator he has yet to talk about using the actual hardware.

    There you go... I'm getting showing a whack of new threads in all the forums now. Odd...

    But yeah, the guy who claims he rooted the PlayBook mentioned it on his twitter account. I thought for sure the Apple crowd would be on here gloating about it.

    Either way, I want to see the outcome of this.
