I copied an avi video file to my Playbook but I can only play it. The video navigation slider is at the bottom of the screen but if I slide it forward or tap the line to go to skip to another part of the video, the video always restarts the video from the beginning! So all I can do with that video is play, pause, or restart. One little accidental tap and poof! It's back to the beggining!
I have other avi files on my PB and they don't have that problem.
I have Handbrake but I'm not too familiar with it. Perhaps Handbrake could convert that avi file to some useable format?
I think Smiley88 (I might have it slightly wrong) mentioned this the other day. There must be something inherent in some formats that locks out the slider function.
