    Agreed. At least they finally addressed it, but what a disappointment.

    Yeah, kind of disappointing announcement, but as stated it's good to know the final decision. At least this will stop the discussions. Will live with it as is, as it generally fills my basic needs, but was hoping that it could be more. It won't see less use than it currently has been seeing, and that'll probably stay that way for another year or so, but likely will eventually get an Android tablet or something. For the price, I still think the PB was good value. Honestly, it's just one of those things: would rather know the bad news vs being held in limbo.

    I think if we look at this, they'd rather release a well working OS than one that would under perform. If the 4G LTE was the main playbook they released, I could see BB10 on that platform. Might be too much lag in the OS on 1GHz and 1GB of RAM in BlackBerries mind.

    Overall still a sad day for PlayBook owners. I was really hoping for good news so I could invest in one again.

    Time to shop for an Android tablet. I was just waiting to see what BB10 would be like on the Playbook but seeing as this will not happen I see no reason to stay. Technology progresses and if the Playbook will not be moving forward I will leave it behind. I am sure there will be plenty of Playbook defenders and if you enjoy using your Playbook by all means keep doing so. For me the promise of what the Playbook could have been was never realized. While I love the hardware and how the OS works, there were too many features missing and too few apps. Once I find a suitable replacement I will sell my Playbook. Everything ends. For me, this is where the Playbook ends.

    For those who would like a PlayBook. I sense eBay will have some great deals later today.

    It's a shame but it won't change how I use my PlayBook. Games, browsing at home and YouTube viewing.

    A great tablet for peanuts. I've spent more on a night out.

    I might sound really stupid here, but I got my playbook @ the time of 2.1, actually under the impression of BB10 coming to the PB....

    Anyway... could I ask what they took 'AWAY' from BlackBerry Bridge?
