I am looking for a tablet and now wondering about the Playbook. If I were to purchase one now, do I have to download the OS2? Any ideas when it will be shipped WITH OS2? It seems irritating to buy something that you immediately upgrade the OS, and take the risk of problems that seem to often occur with OS upgrades on any gadget.
out of the box i don't think any playbooks have OS2 unless they were recently manufactured....and just to make a point any tablet you buy or phone for that matter will always have updates out of the box....esp. apple products which have updates all the time...same as the playbook...its what keeps the devices running smooth while adding extra features.
