Come on BlackBerry, we all need a BB10 7.0" tablet from you. Please release one soon.

In my opinion, a BB10 7.0" tablet would be the epitome of BlackBerry. Just think of the utility of such a device. It would provide a different, and extremely useful facet to an already extremely useful and productive OS. BB10.

Exactly what are you smoking? If I may quote you from another thread regarding the playbook's keyboard, you said,
"I think the OS is flawed, and once again, not addressed. There is an explanation for everything, and this once again proves my point of unfinished business still present, at BlackBerry. I also see this same pattern, characteristic or trend, with the Z10's keyboard, and suggests unfinished business with the Z10 as well. BlackBerry needs to iron out these issues, before moving on to new devices or avenues. It is still making the issue of inconsistencies present in BlackBerry products known. Sad part is, I'm not alone." (emphasis is mine)

That was all of two hours ago. Now you're calling for a new device from Blackberry?

I guess Blackberry should do like Sony with Xperia Z Ultra. Make a 6.5+ inch phone and release a non-radio wifi only version as a tablet. I would buy that, am actually thinking of buying a Z ultra as a tablet.

Just so you are aware, I'm not "smoking" anything. Maybe you do, but please, speak for yourself.

Doesn't mean one can't wish for one.

Sorry but I am unlikely to trust Blackberry again! My next tablet will almost certainly have to have an Android OS. I like my Playbook but so many things don't work! My new Android phone on the other hand does not stop amazing me. I find myself using my Smartphone for most things these days including web browsing and email and only really use my Playbook for watching recorded TV downloaded from my PVR

Agreed. While I still use my playbook daily, if I had to buy another tablet, BB most likely would not get my money.

I would love to see another PlayBook. It would be nice to have BB10 on it, to compliment the new phones!

all we need is a Playbook update that makes the apps 100% with BB10 so you run the same app store for phones and playbook, the BB10 keyboard and Android runtime; my playbook still works perfect.

I agree, the PB was nice, but had it been a 8in screen- even better. Much easier on the eyes for web browsing.

I read somewhere google is set to release a 8in tab soon too.

I wish there was a way for us to upgrade the ram for the 1st Gen playbooks...i would so love bb10 on that thing, but unfortunately right now, it's nothing more than an ornament.

I would buy it. Bought Playbook new for full price, and never regretted it. It always did what I bought it for. Editing documents, Recording HD video, and watching movies. Still does all those things today.

    I'd buy a Blackberry 10 Tablet in a heartbeat.

I don't think they will release another tablet until they get their phone business is order.

    Perhaps in a few years.

Well if they manage to make OS10 efficient enough to be hosted on the existing tablets, then they will meet our expectations and their promises.
I am not sure though that they will.

They will not try to get OS 10. with an Android 4.0+ onthe existing PlayBooks. There could be a new tablet next year but it will be much higher priced and probably sold more to big organizations or by phone providers. Isn't Lenovo entering into some deals?

I've been looking to buy a new 7" tablet, currently have a iPad and Playbook, and I can't make a decision. I like the screen resolution of the iPad but prefer the screen size of the Playbook. I'm not a big IOS fan, much prefer the Playbook OS and BB10. If BlackBerry came out with a 7-8" tablet, with a narrow bezel like the Z30, a higher resolution screen like the Z30, and BB10, I would be all over it.

I agree with you, I'm not concerned with who builds it, as long as it gets built. Also, Foxconn has done very well with Apple, I'm sure the build quality of the BlackBerry will be comparable.

They really should make one. I wonder whether Chen can be such a contrarian as to make a new tablet after BBRY got smacked on the first one.

But think about how great a BB tablet would be with OS10's email functionality and linking to your phone's calendar AND running Android apps.
