Hello everyone,

This is a post to brag about my son's recent accomplishment, using a BlackBerry Playbook. Getting things done!

He wrote a book! He started out writing on his BlackBerry Bold 9700, then switched over to writing on the BlackBerry Playbook solely because it was easy to use, and easy to carry with him where ever he was.

That's quite impressive and it looks to be interesting. WIll it be available on Kobo? I don't use Kindle for reading ebooks and I use Kobo on my playbook and android tablet.

This would be the irony of it. I will have to ask my son, what it would take to be on Kobo. It was written on the playbook, and is available for download via Kindle, yet we don't have a kindle app on the playbook that I know of, I can get it on my Z10 via that Kindle App, but not on my playbook.

It's very cool that he wrote a book and I will check it out.
I am presently writing my own book on the PlayBook, so this will help to inspire me to keep it up.
As for Kindle on the PlayBook it has to be sideloaded (use mine all the time).

So do I, but I never liked the sideloaded kindle app and I also purchased all of my books on Kobo and don't want to start on a new platform and have books in different places. The author did say that at the moment, the book is a Kindle exclusive...so whenever that agreement is up, I'm hoping it'll appear in other ebook stores. Once it shows up on Kobo, I'll be buying myself a copy.

As soon as the agreement is expired I am going to distribute through as many channels as possible. I planned on having pencil sketches of certain characters but one of my flaws is not having a whole lot of patience. Cool thing is I can update it anytime as a new version and plug the pictures in that way.

sounds like a good book....out of curiosity did he use a bluetooth keyboard or type straight onthe screen?

He was using the screen keyboard, for portability. I have the Blackberry BT keyboard and love it.
