I have been patiently waiting for a BNIB 16GB BlackBerry Playbook for months and months, and that day has come tonight, as I purchased it privately from a seller who wanted to get his money back so he could grab the PB 64GB it's great for the both of us.
I am very lucky to find a brand new Playbook, for the same price as the stores were selling it prior to December 1, 2011.
I have started it up, and input my e-mail and password for BlackBerry App World, configured the rest.
I couldn't update it further as the battery was at 12%, to update, the Playbook requires at least 20% battery charge.
I'll post back later when I bridge my BB Torch 9810 to the sexy tablet!

welcome to the party. i got mine 2.weeks ago and i love it, cant live without it. my 4year old son has an ipad2 but i prefer the playbooks size for portability. flash in the web browser can be handy but i find the browser much faster with javascript and flash off till needed. i loved it so much i sold my iphone and got a BB phone for bridge and really loved it. then i discovered the app sms bridge for my bb phone and now my life is complete. to get sms on the tablet is amazing. i did try the beta os2 but for me the added stability of the proper os1 is best

awesome responses so far ive had this for almost 5.5 hrs and i cant leave it alone lol been watching youtube vids in HD playing videos i ripped in MP4 and AVI format the playback quality is unreal just incredible.

It should be fun to check back on this thread again after brother grim's had a chance to watch one of those HD movies on the big screen in presentation mode while reading the Crackberry forums and/or paying bills online at the same time.
