Hello,

We have a Yamaha ywa-10 wireless network adapter. It will allow us to connect our Yamaha AV receiver wirelessly to our home network.

How can I connect our blackberry playbook to this device so I can play music files from our playbook to our yamaha receiver?

You're barking up the wrong tree when trying to connect to that device.
There are ways to play music through your receiver wire less. I use the BlackBerry music gateway over blue tooth. I believe it is possible to do it over wifi but you will have to wait for the experts to answer that question.

I had planned on using bluetooth and the blackberry music gateway but the Playbook is in the kitchen upstairs and the stereo is downstairs so I was concerned about the distance and going through the floor. My brother in law had this ywa-10 device so I thought I would give it a try to connect the Playbook to the stereo through our internal lan.

I'm hoping someone has good news for me on how to use the ywa-10 and the playbook. If not then I guess I'll have to try bluetooth.
