Native Music Player. Issue populating with BBDS
Is it just me or does the PlayBook take a lot of time populating your music after syncing through BlackBerry Desktop Software with iTunes?
It takes a rather long time to show new and old playlists, updated playlists, and music I just added.
Does anyone experience this and has this issue been address somewhere.
Also, through the native Music Player, there is no way to make a new playlist through the application, correct?
The only reason I use BBDS is because of playlist.Last edited by CL8Baller; 03-24-2012 at 12:46 AM. Reason: Typos

I _THINK_ that the pb is reindexing the contents of the music folders, categorizing the various tunes by genre, album, artist etc. But who knows what goes on inside the bowels of these things.
You can only create one playlist (for some reason only known to the guy at rim with limited music tastes) on the pb. We can only hope that they fix this or someone comes up with a 3rd party app that lets us read through our music and create additional playlists on the device.
I create playlists using my computer referencing the pb as a drive.
