I am having a hard time with the spell check, auto correct and the like. Its always changing my words to Spanish spellings. How do I make this as efficient as the phones? Is there a tutorial on this somewhere? Even my keyboard is spelled in Spanish. My spacebar says, Espacio and my return button says lr???
Im super annoyed by this feature at the moment. Now. I can speak kitchen español, but that wont work when surfing the Web. I mean, unless Im ordering some Mexican grub. Help! O'tay tanks!

Try to change your keyboard language setting...

Go into language and change it to English.

Go to your home screen, swipe down from top, onleft side you will see "language", click and change to English.

And as Josh says your keyboard language setting also, it's the round globe left side of spacebar.

Yeah, the language is set to English already. I'm actually typing remotely from my phone because the settings are so wonky On the Playbook. I will keep playing with it. Thank You

I'm assuming you tried changing the typing language by tapping the "globe" icon on the keyboard and selecting English? Idk if youve done that.

You can delete those words by holding a specific word for 2seconds

English certainly is the chosen language on the device. I don't mind the Spanish spellings, but the constant suggestions and the device auto choosing the first word in the row is irritating me. I'm just deactivating the feature for now. Man, somebody being me a taco. I'll be waiting. Patiently.

I believe that it's a network problem. My web browser changed to spanish yesterday.
