The PB has a one year warranty,and only a 90 day free Tech support. Calling is better.

Leave the tablet plugged into the wall charger, not the USB cable, for at least 4 hours before attempting to power-up. If that fails, contact BlackBerry PlayBook Support.

Don't take the chance while you still have the warranty. My second Playbook did that to me and I just call them and have them help me diagnose and eventually send my unit back for repair. Once you receive the FedEx express package and paper work, it only take 5 days including weekends to get back to me. Between Toronto and Tennessee I think.
