Hi does anyone know if RIM intend to bring a movie store apply to the UK?

They started with a USA movie store just added Canada so I would assume their plan is to continue to roll it out.

It seems odd that Blackberry were selling so well over here in the UK, whilst the USA was all about the iPhone, and yet here in the UK we get ripped of in App World on pricing due to RIM thinking �1 is worth less than $1, and anything like a Movie store we're just an afterthought if we're lucky.

i dont think people realise that if an app in the states is listed as a dollar, that is BEFORE tax, The price in the UK is with tax included.

I can't see it happening anytime soon to be honest mate, I just load my playbook up with movie files and take them with me that way - far easier.

What is the best way you have found of loading movie files?

I have a 3tb hard drive on the pc that contains our dvds that I have converted across into avi format - I can see my playbook over the network at home and just copy them across onto the playbook

Is in USA the tax 56%? Cause at the time of writing this post with �1 you get $1.56. So if for an app we pay �1 you should pay $1.56 which I don't think is correct. Or imagine that we pay �5 for an app that would mean you pay $7.80. Am I correct to say that?
