    Default Move Movies to Playbook

    Hi,

What is the best way to move movies from my desktop to my playbook? And what is the best format?

I have converted some of my Video TS files to m4v using handbrake. Is this the best format for the playbook? Thanks.

I typically use the USB cable to transfer but wireless works just as well...little slower however.
I rip most of my DVD's to .avi or mp4 format for the playbook. I prefer going mp4 as the video quality is outstanding on the playbook.

With handbrake I used a preset I found online specifically for PB. From there I choose the MKV format. Quality is still excellent and the file size is smaller than mp4.
I always transfer files to and from pc using wifi sharing.

Thanks guys. So m4v is no good?

Also, I can't figure out how to move the movies. Is there an 's guide. I have no idea about wifi sharing. For usb transfer, do you just use the playbook as a external drive or do you use BB desktop manager?

An excellent guide on how to use wifi sharing can be found herehttp://helpblog.blackberry.com/2011/...ok-copy-files/ and on multiple other sites.

It's a long time since I used the usb cable to transfer something to and from my PB but it's probably faster than over the network.

M4V will work fine, just move them to the videos directory on the PlayBook. There are many ways to do this, I usually use either WiFi file transfer or Dropbox.
