I was visiting my Mom for Mother's Day and hooked up my Playbook to her bigscreen TV (using a mini HDMI cable I bought online for a few bucks). I then called my sister who has a playbook and we setup a video chat. My Mom was thrilled to be able to see my sister and her family, who live a thousand miles away. We talked for probably 30 minutes and it was like she was right there with us. It was a very cool gift for Mother's Day!
We also used the videochat yesterday. Mom got to speak to my brother who lives about 5 hours away from us. He was hosting a Mothers Day brunch at his place and had his wife, daughter & granddaughter as well as his mother-in-law and his mother-in-law's mother, so 5 generations on videochat! All were amazed we could see each other so clearly and talk back and forth so easily and with no charge for the call. It was really good!!!
